Robert Peate I started drawing and painting when I was two, and taking photographs before I was ten. A lifelong visual artist, I was born with an eye for composition, line, color, and light value. I specialize in capturing character, going deeper, creating a connection between viewer and subject. While I favor portraits, I also shoot landscapes and still-lifes for personal pleasure and enlargement sales. I have been shooting seriously since 1987, and my Natural-Light Photographs has been providing the highest quality photographs since 1999. In 2006 I was honored to have a photograph I took of the Ambassador Hotel used on The Oprah Winfrey Show, but I am just as honored by your visiting this website.
